Generally speaking, the parameters and performance configuration of the in-ear gaming headset mainly depends on the following indicators.

Voice coil unit

At present, in-ear gaming headphones mainly have two forms of voice coil units: moving coil and moving iron type.

Moving coil unit is common in entry-level in-ear gaming headsets, usually, the voice coil unit diameter is larger, in the process of sound can be powerful to drive more air vibration, so you can send more low-frequency sound effects, for listening to the sound discrimination has a better help.

Moving iron type unit is through the structure of the precise connection bar conduction to the diaphragm center point, to produce vibration sound. Sensitivity

Generally speaking, the higher the sensitivity, the clearer the sound quality of the headphones, and the better the listening experience effect.

There are two units of sensitivity: one is dB/mW, and the other is dB/Vrms, which is the sound pressure level generated when 1Vrms voltage is applied to the headphones. High sensitivity means that the power required to achieve a certain sound pressure level should be small, and now the sensitivity of in-ear headphones is generally above 90dB/mW.

Impedance

Impedance refers to the impedance of the AC power. Generally speaking, the smaller the impedance, the higher the sensitivity, and the easier it is to drive the sound of headphones.

Headphone impedance is a dynamic value that changes with the frequency of the audio signal, in-ear headphones impedance is usually between 16Ω-64Ω.

With different use of equipment, the impedance of the headset performance will be different. For in-ear gaming headphones, because often need to play the game when listening to the function, so the headset impedance is relatively larger than ordinary earbuds impedance, to highlight the effect of low-frequency sound, usually, headset manufacturers in advance of the factory have set the impedance output size.

Frequency response

Frequency response can be simply understood as the response of the system equipment to different frequencies of the input signal. It is used to measure the headphones on the high, medium, and low-frequency band signals' uniform reproduction ability.

The vast majority of headphones on the market today have a frequency response range between 20-20KHz, which is the maximum range of frequencies that can be received by the human ear. Generally speaking, the wider the frequency response range, the deeper the bass dive, the better the treble extension, and the richer the sound detail performance.

For in-ear gaming headphones, the frequency response characteristics are only a reference standard, each headphone has different frequency response characteristics and different sound characteristics, for a good headphone, the flatter the frequency response curve, the more it can restore the master sound.
